While my mom and I are having rum punches at the bar, Becky is working on the kids diary. The famous Willy T restaurant was just a tad too boozed up to bring kids to.

Last night.
Finishing cocktail hour and headed out for dinner, on the dinghy. Pic is looking out from Normal Island toward St. John, USVI.

Were in Jost Van Dyke today. Have some text access again today. Were eating at Foxy's tonight. Not much here accept the legend of Foxy, and everyone else is here to see what Foxy's is all about. Crowded harbor in other words. We spent the day at the beach in White Harbor, next door. Voyage charters had to replace a starter on the port engine while we were away.
It started to rain and we tried to get a taxi back since we remembered we didn't close the hatches. Taxi took too long as we watched the rain approach, so I ran up over the hill. (800 ft above sea level) to the adjacent harbor and made it in time to close up the boat. That was the steepest paved road I have ever seen. Guessing above 30% grade. The rain never made it to that side of the island. Oh well.

We spent most of the day on the beaches of Anegada. This is the 3rd time I have been here, and I can never get used to the beaches here. As good as anything in the bahamas.
This is a pic of my mom hanging her clothes to dry. We are out on a mooring buoy. It's fairly crowded here, so we were lucky to get here early. (Well, we raced here at full throttle) Tonight is lobster dinner night ashore. Our dock friends at Leverick Bay are here again. We caught a few conch and were looking for something to get them out of the shell.
