Riding around Annapolis

One of my favorite things about Annapolis is that we have mtns (ok hills) about 70 min away and cornfields only 20 miles outside of town, away from all the Volvos, Beemers, and Range Rovers talking on their cell phone. This weekend, I did a triathlon (just for yucks to try a brand new bike), rode for another 2+ hrs near the flat cornfields, then trained in the mtns of Gambrills with some old friends. I had a lucky weekend to myself. Just the dog and me. No work, kids, or wife. Imagine that. So, I got overheated, nearly puked after leading the age group off the bike, forgot how to swim, decided lots of bike mileage does make you faster, saw a big arse rattle snake out in Gambrills on sunday, mtb'd some of the most technical rocky trails I have ever seen, then came home to find that my dog took a crap on the carpet. What a great weekend!!!IMG00245.jpg
