Nelo kayaks, manufacturer of arguably the best olympic K1 boats has now entered the surfski market. Europe is having an explosion of surfski paddlers, and Nelo is ideally situated to take advantage of this.
The prototype of the Nelo surfski will make it's debut at the Dubai surfski race, considered the most competitive paddle race of this year. I pulled this pic off a forum in portugal. This prototype didn't survive a knarly beach landing. This says nothing about the build quality as these boats aren't designed to withstand large waves and rocks. I thought it was funny that this was one of the first publicly available pictures of the boat.
