Not having enough time to maintain/further this and moving on toward other objectives, this webblog will be put on hold. This will remain dormant online for now as it seems to help survivors with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and those curious about endurance, paddling, or multisport racing type gear. Nothing makes me happier!
What I found curious is that this blog has found it's way into several multisport racers across seas. Many of them take racing and their gear more serious than I. I envy them and have learned alot along the way. I also like the thought of closing the distance between our mates across seas!
Some of my current efforts will go toward helping raise awareness for cancer resources and the Helping Hands Foundation, which is our local effort to help out with the tragedy currently going on in Haiti. The local Helping Hands foundation was started by Jeff Gelfand, who is a friend, physician, and avid cyclist.
Our cycling Team doc2doc will be Racing Across America this June. This can be followed at www.teamdoc2doc.org and at Team Adventures for the Cure
Meanwhile, we have developed a new multisport/AR team to prove that anything can be achieved if you put your mind to it. A score of individuals have told me to give up racing after suffering a head injury, 8 broken bones, and countless tendon injuries. Yes, I did think about that quite alot, however, the true answer to health and happiness is remaining fit and active. Racing is just my avenue in doing that!
Love life and embrace it!
